Services for Community Associations

Many communities are facing increased crime rates and aren't sure what to do. Whether it's more vandalism, transient populations, or assaults, there are proactive things that community association can do to minimize risk of these occurrences, rather than having to rely on law enforcement all the time. Tip of Spear offers many programs and services specifically for community associations to help make their communities safe again and empower their members. Here is a list of offerings:

Programming for Community Members:

• Personal Empowerment through self-defence

  • Single 1-3 hour self-defence seminar (for women, children, teens, adults)

  • Recurring self-defence classes (for children, teens, adults)

• Crime Minimization

  • General risk awareness & personal safety - seminar / lunch and learn

  • Community crime minimization planning - workshop

Programming and Services for Board of Directors and Volunteers:

• Verbal de-escalation training

• Security assessments and implementation plans for community halls and other assets (to reduce crime) (Government funding available!)
